OSHA Certification and Safety Online Training Requirements
Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification training is required for workers who operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks. Our Forklift, Pallet Jack and Telehandler courses satisfy OSHA's formal training requirements for certification and provide a plastic certification card. Aerial and Scissor Lifts training teaches safe operating procedures and provides an instant certificate of completion.
General Forklift Safety
General safety forklift certification includes three (3) lifts: sit-down counterbalanced, Stand-Up counterbalanced, and Electric Pallet Jack licenses.
Sand Up Reach
Stand Up Reach forklift certification which have a slimmer chassis and hold their loads closer to the wheelbase, making them well-designed for narrow spaces.
Order Picker / Turret Truck
Order Picker certification is for a type of lift truck used as a more efficient and safer replacement for ladders and scissors lifts when retrieving stock by hand.
Rough Terrain
Rough Terrain forklifts can be telescopic boom, telehandlers, or vertical mast similar to warehouse lifts, with greater capacities. Many names refer to these forklifts, and operators of these lifts require different training than operators of standard mast-type forklifts.
Electric Pallet Jack
The electric pallet jack operator training class covers the standard electric pallet jack, walkie-rider, and walkie-stacker lifts. These are similar-type lift systems to the electric pallet jack, and operators of any or all of them must have OSHA powered industrial truck safety training.
NOT FOR Sit Down or Other Types of Forkift
Truck Mounted - Piggyback
Truck-mounted forklifts, also known as piggybacks, donkeys, and other names, are construction support forklifts carried on the back of trucks. Used to unload building materials at a job site, these lifts have unique characteristics since they are NOT counterbalanced.
MEWP (Aerial) All Lift Types
MEWP (aerial lift) operator class covers all classifications of mobile elevating work platforms. This includes aerial booms, straight and articulating, scissor lifts, personal (single-person) lift devices, bucket trucks, and forklift work platforms.
Fall Protection
This fall protection class is designed to support company training of personnel who utilize fall protection in their jobs.
Advanced Flagger
Advance Flagger course provides those in a flagger position with knowledge and understanding to promote safer and more compliant work activity. This course meets OSHA requirements and guidelines.
